How to Reserve a Kitten

Submit an Application
The first step in adopting one of our kittens is completing our required application. Applications are reviewed and prioritized, but submitting an application does not guarantee adoption.
Because we receive a high number of inquiries, the application allows us to efficiently review and respond to just the approved adopters. Please answer all questions honestly and provide as much detail as possible to help ensure approval.
It is important that you review our policy page during this step - you will be asked on the application if you've reviewed it.

Joining the Waitlist
We do not keep a long waitlist. We open our waitlist when we have confirmed pregnancies and/or kittens already born. Ideally, you'll be placed within 3-6 months; that however, is dependent on if you choose to skip litters.
To join, you must place a non-refundable deposit of $500 via Zelle. You must be an approved adopter before we give out our Zelle details. Once received, you will be placed on our priority list and will start to receive weekly updates once the kittens have reached 4 weeks old. This will include videos showing what each kitten is like so far.
If you are reserving from our Ragdoll Kittens For Sale page, then you will skip this step and jump straight to step 4.

Kitten Contract Agreement
Kittens become available to waitlist members at 8 weeks of age, in the order deposits were received. You will be contacted with kitten availability.
Once you select your kitten, we will send you a contract agreement to sign. You will have 24 hours to finalize your decision and return the signed contract. Please review our waitlist instructions for more information prior to joining.

Kitten Reservation
Once the contract has been signed and returned, you must send a non-refundable deposit via Zelle to secure your specific kitten. For those on the waitlist, the deposit is $500. For those not on the waitlist and reserving a kitten directly from our Available Ragdoll Kittens page, the deposit is $1000.

Remainder Payment
The remainder payment must be sent 3-7 days prior to pick-up day, using the same payment method. Payment must clear no later than 3 days before pick-up.

Pick-Up Day
The big day is here! Not all litters are raised in the same home, so pick-up is either at our vet office in Basking Ridge, NJ or in Upper Saddle River, NJ. Your kitten's pick-up location is listed on its litter.

Nationwide Adopters
We love connecting our kittens with families across the country! Families flying in or using a flight nanny can meet us at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).
Nationwide delivery is by flight nanny. Our recommended flight nanny is SkyPetz LLC — we've used them several times, as do many breeders. You're also welcome to choose your own. Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) handoffs are available only for families who are flying in or using a flight nanny. A carrier is essential for a safe trip home - feel free to browse our shop if you'd like us to provide a new one for you at pickup!
